The Selwyn Foundation Management Tool-box
The Foundation's ‘Management Tool-box’ range of services is designed to help NGOs, charitable trusts and independent providers meet the many requirements of today’s residential aged care sector.
A comprehensive package of management services, it comprises a wide range of assessment and audit tools, as well as the latest quality, compliance and HR policies and procedures. It also includes advice and guidance on the implementation of IT, finance, Occupation Right Agreements and other management processes essential for the efficient operation of quality aged care facilities. Services can be purchased as a whole package or as individual components to assist with one-off projects, according to specific needs.
The Revd Duncan Macdonald, CEO of The Selwyn Foundation, says: “Our aim is to support not-for profit, charitable and independent operators of rest homes, hospitals and retirement villages, so that they continue to provide viable, much needed services to ever greater numbers of frail, older members of society.
“Aged care is faced with increasingly stringent regulation and compliance demands, and many smaller providers have difficulty in sourcing the in-house skills and professional know-how required to ensure their processes and management systems comply with national legislation.
