Selwyn Sunningdale Village, Hamilton

Selwyn Sunningdale Village in Claudelands, central Hamilton, offers hospital-level and rest home care.

Formerly owned by Hamilton RSA Veterans Home Trust and set amidst a large established garden and grounds, the Village comprises a 33-bed hospital and rest home, together with eight rental units.  It provides care services and retirement accommodation for mainly ex-service men and women and their dependents, although welcomes residents from non-service backgrounds.  Short-term care can be arranged on an individual basis, as required.

Our aim is to provide a warm and friendly environment. The hospital and rest home are staffed with registered nurses 24 hours each day, assisted by caregivers and other professional staff trained to meet the particular needs of those in their care.

We want all our residents to have an enjoyable time. Our manager is happy to meet wth you and to talk over your specific requirements.

• two separate lounge areas (for activities/TV viewing/meeting with Whanau)
• the services of a visiting hairdresser and podiatrist
• all home-cooked meals and fresh baking
