The Selwyn Centre for Ageing and Spirituality also offers courses for health and aged care workers. Typically, these are workshop-based and experiential. Courses are structured according to the needs of the group. Training courses are also scheduled and run regularly by The Selwyn Centre for Ageing and Spirituality at St John's College (Auckland).

Postgraduate distance learning programmes in ageing and pastoral care are provided by the Centre of Ageing and Pastoral Studies (part of the School of Theology, St Mark's National Theological Centre, Canberra, Australia, at Charles Sturt University) through The Selwyn Centre for Ageing and Spirituality.
