About the Selwyn Foundation
The Selwyn Foundation is one of the largest charitable providers of care to the elderly in New Zealand. It is experienced in rental accommodation, retirement village accommodation, resthome, hospital and dementia care services across the upper North Island.
Each village is situated on superb real estate, chosen (in many cases) decades ago for the site’s beauty, convenience and natural attributes.
The Selwyn Foundation is unusual in that it is an independent charitable trust operated under Christian values. As such it has no requirement to return profits to shareholders. Instead, any surpluses are returned back to the provision of services to the elderly or other charitable purposes.
